Job Overview:
The Software Engineer IV will oversee the development, modification, and maintenance of applications. This role involves monitoring system applications, ensuring smooth operations, and creating reports and documentation to outline findings and solutions. This position is part of the Technology department.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software.
  • Provide advice and recommendations to management on processes and techniques for improved operations.
  • Install and configure systems and other software.
  • Test installed software for malfunction detection.
  • Identify and resolve business systems issues.
  • Design and deploy new applications and enhance existing applications, software, and operating systems.
  • Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve systems.
  • Monitor and test system performance.
  • Oversee the training of junior engineers to improve job skills and work efficiency.
  • Maintain full ownership of a process, typically.
  • Act as a procedural expert when required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in a related role.
