As Manager, Application Development, you'll lead a talented team of developers responsible for delivering enterprise applications that support critical business functions and strategic initiatives. From driving software delivery and strengthening development practices to influencing technology decisions and supporting AI innovation, you'll have a direct impact on how technology enables business growth.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a highly engaged team of software developers and team leads.
  • Managing multiple software development projects through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from planning through production release.
  • Partnering with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable business solutions.
  • Driving Agile and Scrum best practices, development processes, release planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Providing leadership and oversight for enterprise application architecture, design decisions, and technical direction.
  • Evaluating technical trade-offs and ensuring solutions align with business objectives, scalability requirements, and long-term technology strategy.
  • Supporting application modernization initiatives and cloud-based solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure.
  • Managing development workflows, planning activities, and delivery metrics using Jira and the Atlassian platform.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve team effectiveness, documentation, governance, and operational processes.
  • Contributing to strategic initiatives including AI adoption, international expansion projects, and enterprise technology transformation efforts.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive software development experience, including experience designing and delivering enterprise software solutions.
  • 4+ years of people leadership experience managing software development teams.
  • Proven experience managing multiple software projects and releases simultaneously.
  • Strong experience leading Agile/Scrum development teams and software delivery through the SDLC.
  • Hands-on background in software development, including experience with APIs, database technologies, software architecture, and application design.
  • Experience working within Microsoft Azure platform.
  • Technical background with .NET and SQL-based applications.
  • Experience using Jira and the Atlassian suite to manage development workflows, planning, and delivery.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and technical decision-making processes.
  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting enterprise business systems such as ERP, CRM, warehouse management, order management, logistics, or supply chain platforms.
