As a Rawlings Sales Associate you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of products from gloves, bats, training equipment and apparel.
Rawlings Sales Associates provide advice and assistance to customers to maximize the likelihood of a sale. You will be responsible for a variety of duties that pertain to creating an attractive environment for customers. An excellent sales advisor must be energetic and outgoing with excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to acquire thorough knowledge of the Rawlings’ products and pass that knowledge to customers along with a great deal of enthusiasm.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Uses different selling techniques and presentation methods to assist customers with product selection.
• Stays current on products and understands the product pricing structures, styles, colors, product history, etc.
• Provides accurate information regarding product specifications.
• Drives profitable growth and achieves individual and department goals.
• Monitors and maintains merchandise on shelves.
• Operates cash register.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Education Required:
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Three (3) months of experience working in customer service, sales or related fields
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Professional and outgoing personality
• Bilingual preferred
• Teamwork mentality
Working Conditions: Retail store setting with an emphasis on nights and weekends.
