Job Overview: Assist Head coachJob Functions:Assist the head coach in verifying that athletes adhere to the rules and regulations set by the TSSAA/TMSAA or other applicable athletic association, the Maury County School Board and all building-level policies and procedures and report any violations to the appropriate party.Ensure supervision of all student athletes at all times. An adult should be in the locker room when athletes are in the locker room and remain until all athletes have left the locker room.Provide the proper environment for the safety and health of the athletes, including the prevention of and proper care of injuries.Perform any duties deemed necessary by the head coachUnderstands the proper administrative chain of command and refers all student and parent requests or grievances through proper channelsConducts self before the students and the community to instill respect and good sportsmanship.Other duties as assigned. PLEASE VISIT THE MCPS WEBSITE FOR THE COACHING STIPENDS UNDER SALARY SCHEDULES
