JOB SUMMARY

The incumbent in this position is primarily responsible for:

Planning and coordination of all slot floor projects. As needed, will repair/conduct maintenance on casino slot machines, including ordering and installing parts.

The incumbent, as with all members of Monarch properties, provides excellent customer service to all Team Members, is expected to conduct himself/herself in a manner which demonstrates initiative, professionalism, personal awareness, integrity, and exercises confidentiality in the appropriate areas of his/her performance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Ability to trouble shoot minor machine issues such as button and bill validators issues on all machines within 1 month.
  • Replace all peripheral machine components within two months.
  • Trouble shoot major machine issues within 1 year.
    • The ability to explain games to guests and jackpot payouts -strong "floor presence" is necessary and ability to provide exceptional Guest Service.
    • Maintain operation of slot machines at all times with minimal downtime
    • Will constantly perform preventative maintenance on slot machines to ensure proper and optimum performance levels.
    • Assist Slot Floor personnel when needed and requested by Slot Shift Managers and/or Assistant Slot Managers.
    • Perform software conversions and slot machine moves as directed by the Slot Performance Manager.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE (Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience)

Two years electronics/technical Degree or equivalent experience with electronics components.

  • Minimum 3 years Slot Technician experience with slot machines in a Casino Environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The incumbent in this position works on-site at the casino and interfaces with external/internal customers, Team Members, and vendors on a regular basis. The position's work schedule varies and may include Saturday/Sunday and evening work depending on the needs of the operation.
