Description

The Showroom Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the showroom, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while supporting outside sales for the region. This role oversees daily showroom operations, supervises showroom staff, partners with outside sales representatives, and maintains an organized, efficient, and welcoming environment for customers. The Showroom Manager serves as the primary leader of the showroom and is responsible for driving operational excellence, team performance, and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the showroom, ensuring a clean, organized, safe, and customer-focused environment.
  • Supervise, coach, train, and develop showroom staff by providing performance feedback, direction, and support while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
  • Partner with outside sales representatives to support regional sales efforts, strengthen customer relationships, and drive showroom sales growth.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers promptly, identifying project needs, recommending products and solutions, and ensuring a positive showroom experience.
  • Process customer orders, monitor order status, check inventory availability, communicate delivery information, and coordinate with the corporate office to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Oversee showroom merchandising by installing new product introductions, maintaining current product displays, and removing discontinued patterns and samples.
  • Prepare, review, and submit all required daily and weekly showroom traffic, sales, and operational reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain and reconcile showroom petty cash and ensure accurate operational records are kept using company systems.
  • Resolve customer and employee concerns professionally while implementing and enforcing company policies, procedures, safety standards, and housekeeping practices.
  • Effectively utilize personnel, equipment, and resources to maximize operational efficiency and support overall business objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Job responsibilities may be modified or expanded to meet the changing needs of the business.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous sales, retail, showroom, or customer service experience required.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience working with interior designers, architects, or design professionals is a plus.
