Job Title: Assistant Architectural Designer (Part-Time)

Location: Dorchester neighborhood of Boston MA - this position is not a remote position.

Working hours: 15-20 hours per week

About Us: DCCS is a dynamic and innovative Design and Construction firm dedicated to creating inspiring and sustainable residential/commercial projects. We are looking for a talented and motivated Assistant Architectural Designer to join our team on a part-time basis. Co-op students are encouraged to apply.

Job Description: As an Assistant Architectural Designer, you will support our design team in developing creative and functional architectural solutions. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about architecture, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow. This position is perfect for someone who wishes to gain experience in Design Build environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of architectural drawings, plans, and renderings.

  • Conduct research on materials, building codes, and design trends.

  • Collaborate with senior designer and architect on various projects.

  • Set up a consultation with prospective clients

  • Participate in client meetings and presentations.

  • Support the development of project documentation and specifications.
