Job description

What You'll Do

Responsible for properly executing security duties on assigned shift, to adequately protect the safety and property of guests, team members, and the company. Administering first aid and emergency medical attention to guests and team members on the property, as required.

What You'll Bring
  • Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of Casino.
  • Generates necessary written reports regarding security-related incidents involving guests, team members and/or the facility, also write incidents in the security log book.
  • Assist security officer II with emergency procedures including fire evacuation and serious incidents.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of facilities, as well as special events on property, in order to advise guests of same, whenever possible.
  • Responsible for escorting money transfers to and from the vault, offices and the gaming machines on the floor and maintain security level to safeguard assts.
  • Patrols the property identifying potential security and/or safety hazards, and reporting to the appropriate individual.
  • Tag and report found property, transfers items to lost and found.
  • Maintains a series of keys, accessing locked areas as necessary.
  • Must familiarize with key watch system.
  • Checks identification from all persons who appear to be under the legal age, to ensure compliance with state and federal gaming regulations.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining the extra badges for the team members.
  • You will administer visitor passes to vendors and others that have scheduled meetings or business with the casino.
  • Held to a strict code of confidentiality.
  • You will be required to monitor the two-way radio that should be on your person at all times.
  • Perform other tasks assigned
Regulatory & Compliance Responsibilities
  • Must have current Driver's License
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.
  • High School diploma or (GED).
  • Minimum of one-year experience in law enforcement or security preferred.
  • Excellent Guest Service skills and experience working with the public required.
  • Ability to work independently and use good judgment.
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Basic computer knowledge for data entry.
  • Must have a current driver's license.
  • Operates company vehicles as directed to do so.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
  • Able to Multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels

Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain STATE OR TRIBAL Gaming License.
