Ocean Bay, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, has an opening for a highly motivated Media Specialist located in Arlington, Virginia. The Media Specialist will focus on bridge-building between the governmental agency and the public through education and prevention initiatives. This specialized position integrates multimedia production, including podcasts and video-to raise awareness about the dangers of drug use and the critical mission of the agency.

Position Responsibilities: * Provides expert scholarly advice, and consultation to projects and professional co-workers. * Apply expert and highly specialized knowledge to gather facts, research and analyze data, and develop conclusions, recommendations and strategies. * Exhibits expertise in performing a specialized job, task or skill.

* Possesses greater-than-normal expertise or insight relative to a particular technical or operational discipline, system, or process, and has been selected or appointed to use such expertise to solve a particular problem. * Assists project members with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in specialty areas. * Podcast Development: Assist with end-to-end production of agency video and audio podcasts, including research, script editing, and preparing episodes focused on emerging drug trends and diversion topics.

* Newsletter Management: Draft and review newsletter s material to provide community partners and the public with current drug information, agency events and announcements, rulemakings, and other essential information. Research and develop content. * Video: Draft professional scripts for various multimedia formats.

Edit video content and suggest video and imagery to accommodate product. * Candidate Vetting: Research and provide recommendations for internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and external community leaders (e.g., medical professionals, treatment experts, law enforcement) to discuss the nuances of the agency's mission - specifically focusing on preventing the illicit use of pharmaceutical controlled substances. * Assist the agency by developing external communication materials that explain the mission to prevent the illegal distribution of legally manufactured pharmaceuticals.

* Executive Support: Prepare activity reports and performance metrics for review for higher leadership to track the effectiveness of communication and outreach campaigns. * Ability to Take Direction: Successfully execute external communication products and projects under the guidance of senior Special Project Officer and other government counterparts. * Collaborative Teamwork: Coordinate with diverse internal teams-including Senior Executives and Investigators, to ensure outreach efforts align with broader agency goals and tactical operations.

* Performs other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: * Master's degree or higher in a scientific, technical or business discipline. * Minimum of 10 years of progressive work experience, culminating in current role as a senior technical/business professional who acts as an adviser in complex and critical client projects.

* Maintain high standards of honesty, flexibility, and confidentiality while representing the agency via media platforms Skills: * Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint management and computer software programs. * Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). * Possess knowledge of applying analytic methodologies and principles to address program needs.

* Strong writing and editing skills, with experience developing media products, talking points, and executive communications. * Proven ability to support media engagements, press briefings, and podcast productions. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality communications products under tight deadlines.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, consistency, and adherence to agency messaging standards. * Experience monitoring media coverage and assessing communication effectiveness to inform strategy. * Proficiency with digital communications tools and platforms used for external messaging and content distribution.
