Job Summary

As a Sales Manager, you will provide the support Sales Counselors need to maximize their potential and reach or exceed sales goals while providing exceptional customer service. In this role, you will lead the sales team by solidifying strategies, providing coaching, and offering positive accountability. These skills will be used to: 

  • Contribute to the organization's profitability by recruiting, selecting, training, managing, and developing Sales Counselors to generate and maximize new home sales in key locations.
  • Assist Sales Counselors in generating and maximizing new home sales while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage Sales Counselors' marketing plans and traffic-generating activities and suggest strategies for improvement.
  • Prepare proactively for, schedule, and conduct biweekly one-on-ones with each Sales Counselor on their team to help solidify a sales strategy with top prospects, review sales metrics on the dashboard to identify coaching opportunities, and ultimately hold their team accountable for results.
  • Communicate feedback to individual Associates regarding their performance and provide opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide sales counselors with continued education, oversight, and training by conducting weekly effective Sales Practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior New Home Sales and Management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Psychology.

Physical demands and overall work environment:

  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and walk on various types of terrain, including uneven surfaces, construction sites, and residential properties that may have mud, ruts, etc.
  • Must be able to utilize sensory skills (i.e. verbal communication) and technology (i.e. cellphone) to effectively communicate with other Associates and customers.
  • Must be able to perform movements such as bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, grasping, etc.
  • Must have the ability to climb permanent stairs, temporary stairs, and ladders.
  • Must have the physical strength and stamina to perform tasks such as lifting approximately 50 lbs. unassisted throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to endure and be exposed to different types of conditions, including weather (heat, cold, rain, ice, etc.) and substances such as dust, dirt, and fumes.
  • Must be able to properly use and wear protective gear provided including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel toed shoes, etc.
