About Paradigm Power Delivery Inc.
Join a dynamic and rapidly growing power delivery company where safety is a top priority. As a Site Safety Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting safety initiatives on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and fostering a safe working environment for all personnel. This role is expected to promote to a Site Safety Manager in 6-12 months. This position will be eligible for OT, per diem, and company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and enforcement of site safety plans and programs in alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct routine site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
  • Assist with safety training and orientation for new and existing site personnel.
  • Coordinate communication between site management, workers, and subcontractors regarding safety matters.
  • Document incidents, near-misses, and safety observations; assist with investigation processes to determine root causes.
  • Maintain accurate safety records, including permits, logs, tool inspections, and safety meeting minutes.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement by participating in safety meetings and contributing feedback on safety policies and procedures.
  • Promote a culture of safety by encouraging proactive hazard identification and adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or similar, or equivalent work experience
  • 0-3 years of working experience within electrical construction or similar environment
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse teams.
  • Ability to conduct safety inspections, document findings, and support corrective actions.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification.
  • Familiarity with building safety processes and programs
  • Recognized safety accreditations (CSST, CHST, COSS, CSP, etc.)
  • First Aid/CPR Certification.
