COMPANY OVERVIEW

We are a SaaS solution helping First Responders with their operations checks by offering safer and more efficient rig and inventory tracking. We help automate and streamline the operational aspects of our clients' jobs - saving agencies, on average, 700% in time and cost savings in the first year alone.
PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION
The Director of Sales is responsible for driving revenue and client growth of our SaaS solution. You will lead our talented Sales team in discovering, qualifying, presenting, demonstrating, negotiating, and closing deals with prospective and existing clients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Recruit and hire sales staff and develop sales training programs.
  • Manage and mentor sales team of 8-10 Account Executives and other members of the sales team as needed.
  • Refine an already successful inbound and outbound sales strategy.
  • Work with leadership to establish annual sales goals, commission structures, and budgets.
  • Motivate sales team personnel to achieve their goals.
  • Assist the sales team in sales negotiations, client presentations, and closing deals.
  • Track and report on SaaS KPI metrics in the CRM system (Hubspot).
  • Create sales reports and provide sales updates to the leadership team and at company meetings.
  • Establish and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with clients.
  • Review client activity, anticipating client needs, and improving client satisfaction.
  • Monitor the market trends and competitor products and activities.
  • Travel as necessary for trade shows, sales events, customer meetings, and company events (estimated 15-25% of time).
  • Leverage AI tools to improve processes, streamline workflows, and support data-driven decision-making.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
  • Experience managing team members in full-cycle sales role selling B2B SaaS.
  • Exceptional track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience negotiating and closing SaaS deal sizes of $3K-$100K/year in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and sales cycles of 4 to 6 months.
  • Experience developing pipeline through inbound and outbound methods.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Results-driven, strong team player, and self-starter, with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in related field is a plus.
  • Experience in the first responder industry is a plus.
  • Experience with Zoom, Gong, ChiliPiper, HubSpot, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with AI tools (including Claude and Gemini) and how to utilize them in the role (e.g., for content generation, research, or operational efficiency).

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Travel is required to support business operations, customer engagements, meetings, trainings, conferences, or other company initiatives. The frequency and duration of travel will vary based business needs and may change over time. Typical travel is up to 20% of the time, though may increase during certain periods.
