Warehouse Distribution Operations Lead will earn $14.50-$19.00/hour plus overtime and receive excellent benefits and career advancement opportunities with this global company! Due to expansion, several DIRECT HIRE Warehouse Distribution Operations Lead positions are available on 1st Shift/ 8:00am-4:30pm and 2nd Shift/ 1:00pm-9:30pm.

Warehouse Distribution Operations Lead responsibilities:

  • lead, direct and motivate up to 50 team members; communicate goals, workload, expectations, processes and procedures
  • participate on cross-functional teams to support new customer forward or reverse logistics launches and inventory rework
  • locate incoming products and ensure they are staged in proper locations; verify accuracy of transactions
  • suggest innovative ideas to reduce costs, maximize efficiency and elevate customer satisfaction
  • determine shipping priorities, shipping schedules, shipping methods and work assignments
  • ensure orders are accurate completed on-time and within quality and safety standards
  • collaborate with Quality, Production, Receiving and Shipping teams
  • interpret work orders and address staff's questions related to jobs
  • assist with inventory management, adjustments and aging materials
  • utilize JDE Edwards and Radio Beacon computer applications
  • assemble, configure and pack products according to specs
  • maintain a clean, safe and well-organized work area
  • pick and stage products for transfers to other sites
  • identify, count, weigh and measure products
  • audit quantity and labeling of daily shipments
  • communicate updates with supervisors
  • coordinate daily truck pick-ups

Warehouse Distribution Operations Lead requirements:

  • high school diploma/GED
  • supervisory / management experience
  • 3+ years shipping and warehouse experience
  • forklift, reach truck, stock picker and sit down forklift certification are pluses
