Job Summary:

The Research & Development Technician will assist with the development, testing, and evaluation of food products in a manufacturing environment. This position will prepare and test product samples, accurately measure ingredients, record test results, assist with product trials, and ensure products meet quality and specification standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable following procedures while working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing, testing, and evaluating food products and product samples.
  • Accurately measure and prepare ingredients according to established formulas and procedures.
  • Conduct product testing and record results, observations, and measurements.
  • Assist with product trials and production testing to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Maintain accurate R&D records, product specifications, and documentation.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing, food science, quality assurance, laboratory work, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to accurately measure ingredients and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to follow written procedures, formulas, and detailed instructions.
