ABOUT HARTFORD GOLF CLUB

The Hartford Golf Club is a private country club located in West Hartford. It is the premier club in the Hartford region offering a rich tradition of sports, fine dining, and family-focused activities. The 30,000 square foot Clubhouse sits on 256 acres of impeccably maintained grounds.

The Club has an extensive selection of world-class facilities for all ages, including a 27-hole golf course, 9 Har Tru tennis courts, 4 international squash courts, 6 outdoor platform tennis courts, a pool, 4 lane duckpin bowling alley, and a state-of-the-art fitness facility.

Job Title: Outside Operations

HGC is calling on friendly, self-motivated individuals to join our team as a Golf Outside Operations. Would you be able to provide members with personalized club services and supports the professional staff with general golf operations? Are you a customer service rockstar that loves the game of golf? Are you looking for a fun, fast-paced environment to work in? If so, continue reading!

Your main priority as Golf Outside Operations is to provide exceptional customer service and support to all members and guests from arrival to departure. With an upbeat, professional attitude, Greet and welcome all members and guests upon arrival to the golf club. Assist members with golf bag handling, shipping receipts, storage, and set-up on golf carts.

As Outside Operations you will earn a competitive wage and discounts on meals while on duty and in the pro shop. Are you the kind of person who sees what needs to be done and just does it without being asked? Do you have a positive, can-do attitude and work well as a team? If so, this may be the right position for you!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous extensive customer service experience.
  • High level of organizational skills.
  • Previous Golf experience/knowledge and enjoys the game of golf.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.

· Ability to drive club vehicles

  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk and crouch
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
  • Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions

Pay: Range varies from $17-$18 an hour based on experience
