This is a full-time remote position that offers competitive compensation ranging from USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, plus additional bonuses. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions using various treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
• Engage in consultations with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their unique recovery goals.
• Facilitate therapist-led support groups and potentially partner with our Content Manager to create "Expert Insights" for our community.
• Maintain consistent communication with the Clinical Operations Team to enhance service delivery and patient care.
• Directly assist clients in navigating community recovery support options, emphasizing the importance of integrated support systems such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Smart Recovery, and Moderation Management.
• Handle client referrals efficiently, ensuring a seamless experience for those seeking help.
• Participate in continuing education to further your clinical skills, with the cost of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) covered by the organization.
• Provide your availability for sessions and receive compensation for any late cancellations or no-shows, ensuring your time is respected.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with clients who are actively seeking to manage their alcohol use, whether their goals are to moderate their consumption or pursue abstinence. Many of our clients come to us after experiencing challenges with their relationship with alcohol, making our role crucial in their recovery journey. It is essential to understand and cater to their diverse backgrounds and needs, offering empathetic support to those exploring their options.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California.
• Experience with and understanding of various therapeutic approaches, particularly CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed treatment.
• Familiarity with the harm-reduction model and ability to facilitate discussions around moderation versus abstinence.
• Strong clinical engagement skills, demonstrating empathy and the capacity to cultivate trust with clients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in mental health counseling is preferred.
• Previous experience working with clients dealing with substance use disorders, specifically alcohol-related challenges.
• Proven ability to navigate and collaborate with community support resources effectively.
