The Regional Operations Manager reports to the Regional Vice President of Property Management and is responsible for assisting the Regional Vice President of Property Management in the coordination of established regional operating strategies. The Regional Operations Manager's objective is to effectively organize and coordinate field-level reporting requirements to align with monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate calendar requirements; and to act as a regional-level liaison for field teams within their assigned region.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Prepare/update reports, memos, letters, presentations, and other documents, using Microsoft Office applications (including Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Organize, track, and file all property management deliverables and general corporate-related documents (both Hard and Soft files), following up as needed to ensure compliance with applicable deadlines or team objectives

  • Create Excel worksheets to organize large amounts of data and analyze data as necessary Coordinate all travel arrangements (air, lodging, transportation, meal reservations, etc.)

  • Assist in organizing and collecting regional post-close obligations for new acquisitions and ensure that the weekly Transition Checklist is kept up to date by respective teams

  • Complete/coordinate regional tenant notification letters, establish Firmex sites, and gather lockbox, banking information, and other property information

  • Assist Regional Vice President of Property Management with property-level tasks, including review of service contracts and purchase orders

  • Manage and maintain contact databases, schedules/calendars for meetings, presentations, events, etc.

  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly, annual, and other ad hoc reporting documents Prepare, submit, and reconcile expense reports in a timely manner

  • Perform various tasks including running reports in Yardi, collating property-level materials, and organizing materials for meetings, etc.

  • Maintain effective interdepartmental communication and act as liaison between field teams and critical departments

  • Coordinate and plan regional property management events

  • General office management duties, including sorting and distributing mail to internal & external team members. Prepare and send mail as needed.

  • Assist in companywide ESG goals by assisting in the coordination and collection of regional utility consumption information and other necessary reporting

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • The position typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years of property management experience

  • Proven proficiency and advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and the Internet required. (Yardi experience a plus)

  • Demonstrated ability to be professional, presentable, articulate, organized, conscientious, dependable, polished, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment required.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects required. Ability to maintain confidentiality required.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS & ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • Work performed in a general office environment. May require extended hours during peak periods.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
