Hyatt House Irvine is seeking a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating exceptional guest experiences and ensuring smooth hotel operations.

Position Summary

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for welcoming guests, processing arrivals and departures, handling reservations, addressing guest inquiries, and providing outstanding customer service while maintaining Hyatt brand standards.

Essential Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner. • Process guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently. • Handle reservations, room assignments, and payment transactions. • Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and service recovery opportunities. • Answer telephone calls and provide information regarding hotel services and local attractions. • Maintain accurate guest records and documentation. • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction. • Follow cash handling, safety, and security procedures. • Assist with additional front office duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk experience preferred. • Experience with Hyatt systems and Opera/PEP is a plus. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
