We are seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians to join our diverse team in Geneva and be a part of our life-changing mission. The hours of this position are 8 AM - 4 PM, Monday through Friday. We offer a starting base rate of $23.25/hr. We are hiring immediately and offer paid training!

About our school:

Marklund Day School is a non-public state-certified school that partners with area school districts to provide a highly specialized education experience. The therapeutic, sensory-driven Multi-Needs Program serves individuals ages 3 through 21 with medical, developmental, and physical disabilities. Through the Life Skills Program, teachers and paraprofessionals provide individualized functional curriculum and supports for students who are diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum, specific learning disabilities, and developmental disabilities.

  • Keep equipment in classroom in clean condition and provides safe physical environment for all students

  • Provide training and coaching to paraprofessionals on behavior techniques and implementation

  • Must successfully pass PCM (behavior management) training

Qualifications:

  • Illinois Paraprofessional Educator license is required. It can be obtained after being hired within 30 days. To obtain license candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED.

  • Must have Registered Behavior Technician License.

  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and to meet its functional and environmental requirements.
