Description:

Ignik is hiring for a high-impact, dynamic position on our sales team! As the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and growing a strategic portfolio of outdoor and hardware chain stores. You will serve as the primary point of contact for major retail partners while also managing our independent sales rep relationships and assuring that our customers and our sales team are motivated and supported so that growth goals are met.

Position Snapshot:

· Reports to: CEO

· Works closely with: Director of Revenue Operations, Sales Support Lead.

· Location: Greater Seattle Area, Hybrid Remote.

· Time commitment: full time, but schedule and office time are flexible.

· FLSA Status: Salary/Exempt.

· Compensation: 90% base, 10% variable. Base Salary DOE.

· Travel to tradeshows, account meetings and work events required.

Requirements:

Primary Responsibilities

· Manage and motivate sales rep groups to assure that our customer networks are well supported. Run monthly check-in meetings and manage performance to plan.

· Deliver clear sales goals by territory and by account. Plan training and support opportunities with support and budget from the team. Advocate for the team to ensure best-in-class sales tools are delivered on time for each season.

· Manage Ignik’s direct customer relationships, including the following active accounts/channels:

o Ranch/Hardware (Ace, True Value, Lowes, Tractor Supply, Mid-States)

o Mass and Department Store (Fred Meyer, Dillards, Nordstrom)

o Military Groups (AAFES)

· Target strategic customers in these channels, develop relationships, secure product placement, and assist with onboarding for new accounts.

· Monitor and report on customer KPIs including sell through, stock levels and overall channel health.

· Plan and attend industry trade shows and sales events.

· Schedule and prepare for key account meetings, including agenda development, presentations and ownership of follow-up action items.

· Coordinate staff training for key retail partners.

· Create channel specific sales programs and promotions.

· Serve as the internal liaison between rep groups, customers and Ignik’s Marketing, Operations and Logistics teams.

· Physical Demands

· Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods

· Must be able to bend and reach overhead

· Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs


Required Qualifications

· 5+ Years experience in key account management, national sales or related field. Outdoor Industry experience and product fluency required.

· Demonstrated success managing large retail accounts.

· Proven experience managing independent rep networks or remote teams.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and develop actionable strategies.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

· High School diploma/GED or equivalent.

· Loves to be outdoors, represents the brand with authenticity.

· Acts with good judgment and is not afraid to fail.
