Position Overview

The Aircraft Records Analyst is responsible for the review, organization, and management of aircraft engine records. This position plays a pivotal part in upholding HAECO Global Engine Support, LLC’s commitment to safety, quality, reliability, and operational excellence. A meticulous approach will ensure the accurate, compliant, and accessible management of aircraft records. The Aircraft Records Analyst is accountable to the Quality Manager for performing daily assignments in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.

  • Review of aircraft and engine records and LLPs for purchase, lease, or sales
  • Organize storage and maintain aircraft and engine records and their components.
  • Ensure accurate posting, tracking, and filing of aircraft and engines records per company standards.
  • Research and verify compliance of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins where applicable.
  • Generate LLP Summaries, create LLP traceability packages as well as AD and SB Status Reports
  • Contact operators and/or OEMs for missing documentation or records corrections when required.
  • Duplicate and/or create electronic records as needed (borescope inspection videos/DVDs and CDs)
  • Generate data packs for internal and external customers, sales, marketing, etc.
  • Review technical documentation provided by OEM's, MRO's, Trading and Sales Teams
  • Communicate with customers in regard to records questions and concerns.
  • Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
  • Assist in the training of other employees as well as assisting them in the performance of their job assignments through coaching and guidance.
  • Interface effectively with members of management, other departments, and co-workers.
  • Comply with and promote all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
  • Keep own and adjacent work area clean.
  • Perform other work as instructed by the Quality Manager, if qualified.
What you need: (Requirements)
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • FAA Airframe and Power Plant certificate (A&P), Powerplant certificate or Repairman’s certificate.
  • Five (5) or more years of aviation records experience on commercial aircraft engines.
  • An understanding of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 14, Parts 21, 43, 65, 91, 121, 125, 129, 135 and 145.
  • An understanding of EASA regulations, Part 145.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and professionally.
  • Quality experience a plus.
  • Obtain working knowledge of Quantum Control and Jetraxx systems within three months.
  • Intermediate to advanced user of Adobe DC & Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must have the ability to lead people and accept responsibility.
  • Ability to read, write and understand the English language.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to obtain a US Passport.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • May be exposed to loud noise.
  • Able to bend, stoop, kneel and stand for prolonged periods, climb steps, ladders, and/or service stands.
  • Able to reach/handle items, work with fingers and perceive attributes of object and materials.
  • May need to work outside as necessary.
  • May need to work in hot or cold weather conditions.
  • Normal office environment performed in the sitting position with the remaining time walking in the office or shop areas.
  • Nominal or corrected hearing.
  • Visual acuity must be a minimum of 20/40 corrected and must be able to distinguish color.
