Overview

As TAG Assistant QA Support, you will support the Quality Assurance program for DSS-SOC assets by helping manage maintenance and certification activities, coordinating technical documentation and work packages, and ensuring compliance with Navy QA standards. In this role, you will assist with audits, training, procedure updates, and technical reviews while providing hands-on support for testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance verification. You will also help coordinate with Navy commands and OEMs, support deficiency reporting and program reviews, and travel or operate government vehicles as needed to meet mission requirements.


Security Requirement:

  • Must have active Secret Clearance. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support QA program activities for DCS, DDS, SWCS, and other DSS-SOC assets, including maintenance, certification, and compliance with Navy QA standards.
  • Assist with developing, reviewing, and maintaining QA policies, procedures, training, documentation, and records.
  • Support audits, assessments, surveys, and qualification programs to ensure readiness and certification compliance.
  • Provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, and review of work packages, test data, and maintenance documentation.
  • Coordinate with Navy commands, OEMs, and partner organizations for inspections, material custody, and engineering feedback.
  • Assist with developing and validating FWPs/CWPs, evaluating deficiencies, and supporting installation and testing of systems.
  • Travel and operate government vehicles as required to support QA and maintenance activities.

Position Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience with U.S. Navy submarines QA Program. 
  • 10 years of experience with U.S. Navy submarines or submersible platforms. 
  • 10 years of experience with submarine mechanical and electrical systems or components. 
  • 10 years of experience with supply chain or inventory management. 
  • 4 years of experience with NAVSEA 9290 requirements. 
  • HS Diploma or equivalent + 10 years related experience or BA/BS + 4 years related experience. 
  • Prior Military experience as QA Officer preferred.
