Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a community focused outpatient setting. This role offers the opportunity to provide high quality primary care while working within an integrated care model serving Northern Maine communities.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides comprehensive patient care including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment. Responsibilities include health promotion, disease prevention, identification and management of health problems, and coordination of care with primary care providers. The provider practices within the scope of licensure and collaborates with supervising physicians as applicable.
SCHEDULE
• Monday through Friday schedule
• 8am to 5pm typical hours
• Outpatient setting
• No hospital call
COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary based on experience
• Bonus potential
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide comprehensive primary care services
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Perform preventative care and health screenings
• Manage patient panels and continuity of care
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with care teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program MSN preferred
• Certification by an approved organization per Maine State Board of Nursing
• Active Maine Nurse Practitioner license
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Certification through NCCPA
• Active Maine Physician Assistant license
• Current CPR and ACLS certification
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work within a team based care model
