Location: North Central Massachusetts
Job Type: Full-Time

About Red Dog Exteriors

At Red Dog Exteriors, we're not just building roofs—we're building careers.

We're looking for motivated individuals who want to learn, grow, and become future leaders in the construction industry. Whether you're graduating from high school, trade school, college, or simply looking for a career with purpose, we'll provide the training, mentorship, and hands-on experience to help you succeed.

Our mission is simple:

Building for the Future.

That means protecting our customers' homes while investing in the next generation of exterior professionals.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll work directly alongside experienced Project Managers, learning every aspect of residential exterior remodeling while helping ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.

You'll gain hands-on experience in:

  • Coordinating roofing and exterior remodeling projects
  • Communicating with homeowners throughout their project
  • Preparing job sites before crews arrive
  • Checking deliveries and materials
  • Documenting project progress with photos and notes
  • Learning quality control and conducting project inspections
  • Assisting with scheduling and project organization
  • Completing customer paperwork, change orders, and project closeouts
  • Solving problems in the field with guidance from experienced mentors

Every day brings new challenges, new skills, and new opportunities to grow.

What We're Looking For

We're far more interested in attitude, work ethic, and character than experience.

You might be a great fit if you are:

  • Motivated to learn and improve every day
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable communicating with customers and coworkers
  • Positive, professional, and coachable
  • Enjoy working outdoors and staying active
  • A problem solver who takes initiative
  • Interested in construction, leadership, or project management

No project management experience is required.

Construction experience is a plus—but we're happy to train the right person.

Our Leadership Development Program

Our Leadership Development Program is designed to give you the knowledge and experience needed to build a successful career in the construction industry.

You'll receive hands-on training in:

  • Roofing systems and exterior remodeling
  • Project management fundamentals
  • Customer service and communication
  • Leadership and team development
  • Job site safety
  • Quality control and inspections
  • Construction technology and documentation
  • Scheduling and organization
  • Problem-solving and decision-making

You'll work side-by-side with experienced leaders who are committed to helping you succeed.

Career Growth

At Red Dog Exteriors, we believe in promoting from within.

As your knowledge, leadership, and responsibilities grow, so will your opportunities.

Potential career path:

  • Assistant Project Manager
  • Project Manager
  • Senior Project Manager
  • Production Manager
  • Operations Leadership

We're looking for someone who wants to build a career—not just find their next job.

Why Join Red Dog Exteriors?

  • Paid, hands-on training
  • Leadership development and mentorship
  • Clear opportunities for advancement
  • Supportive team environment
  • Learn valuable construction and business skills
  • Make a meaningful impact for homeowners and your community
  • Work for a company that invests in its people and their future

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to climb ladders and safely navigate job sites
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Join a Team That Invests in You
