About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team. This role is responsible for leading and managing construction projects from conception through completion, ensuring execution aligns with RNGD's standards of safety, quality, budget, schedule, and culture. The Project Manager partners closely with field operations, preconstruction, subcontractors, and clients to deliver successful outcomes while supporting RNGD's mission and operational excellence.This position is based out of RNGD Headquarters in New Orleans and provides regional coverage throughout the Southeast as needed. The role requires regular travel to active project locations, project meetings, and partner engagements.


Core Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution
    • Lead overall project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and execution in alignment with organizational goals.
    • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, work plans, and progress tracking tools.
    • Oversee procurement activities, subcontractor selection, contract negotiation, and buyout processes.
    • Ensure project performance meets or exceeds cost, schedule, quality, and safety expectations.
    • Conduct regular project site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and support field teams.


  • Contract, Financial & Risk Management
    • Manage owner contracts, subcontract agreements, and vendor relationships.
    • Review and approve invoices, pay applications, change orders, and cost reports.
    • Identify risks proactively and drive mitigation strategies to protect project delivery outcomes.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, project specifications, and company standards.


  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Serve as primary point of contact for clients, architects/engineers, and subcontractors.
    • Lead internal and external project meetings, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-through.
    • Partner with field leadership to support coordination, logistics planning, and workforce alignment.
    • Promote RNGD's culture through professional communication, collaboration, and consistent follow-up.

    • Coach and mentor project engineers, assistant project managers, and other emerging talent.
    • Support a culture of accountability, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance project delivery systems and organizational processes.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in commercial or industrial construction.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and coordinate complex project activities.
  • Ability to analyze data, anticipate issues, and drive informed decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction management systems.
  • Professional certifications preferred: PMP, CM-Lean, CM-BIM, or related credentials.
