Job description

Civil Engineering - Assistant Project Manager
Job Locations US-MA-Peabody
Category Civil Type Full-Time
Overview

As a Civil Engineering Assistant Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Boston, MA offices, you will work with project teams to create civil engineering site development designs, develop permitting and construction plans, and prepare municipal zoning and land development applications for our private and public sector clients. From commercial retail expansions and modifications, to major mixed-use developments and public parks, you'll take part in designing site layouts, site grading, erosion and sedimentation controls, stormwater management facilities, and site utilities. Interacting with clients, contractors, and local government officials, you'll impact the whole project - from conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening.

You will work closely with our Project Managers and Principals in our civil/site practice to plan and execute projects, communicate with clients, develop new client opportunities, and grow your career. You'll coordinate with other practices (including geotechnical engineering, environmental, ecological, and other practices) to address project-specific needs. You will also mentor junior staff on technical items and have the opportunity to attend industry organization and client meetings.

At CEC, our employees enjoy a flexible work schedule, with hybrid options. Our comprehensive benefits package includes bonus recognition, based on performance, as well as participation in our employee stock ownership program. Additionally, we conduct mid-year and end-of-year performance reviews and provide goal-setting opportunities.

Applicants will have an option to sit in either our Raynham, MA or Peabody, MA office locations.

The pay range for this position is between $75,000 and $90,000. The hiring range posted is a good faith estimate of what Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. may reasonably offer for the role as outlined. Factors such as additional education and/or experience may influence the actual offering.

Qualifications
