About the Job


A strong communicator, advocate and organizer, we seek an Assistant Project Superintendent, who is a leader of people and projects. Candidates should enjoy learning and managing construction initiatives from inception to completion. Alongside the following work skills, we seek someone who is motivated, organized and an independent performer, yet can support others to contribute their best work on behalf of the client.


  • Primarily responsible for supporting the Senior Project Superintendents managing the field construction team and all operations on site. This role delegates tasks, enforces standard operating procedures, resolves conflicts, and maintains site safety and OSHA compliance.
  • Creates and manages documentation using Procore for records, subcontractor scheduling and a daily log of activities.
  • Performs quality control supervision (including identifying non-compliance), coordinates inspections and communicates with project team regarding ASI's, RFI's and material submittals as directed by senior Project Superintendent.
  • Attends weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate work, communicates with project team, performs job progress, punch list identification and completion.

Required Education and Experience


  • Current Massachusetts Contractors Supervisor License.
  • 2+ years on-site construction experience.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting project drawings.
  • OSHA 10-Hour certified.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in construction management for building construction.
  • Ground-up and tenant improvement project experience.
  • Knowledge of principles of project management for building, engineering and architecture related to design and construction.
  • Ability to use engineering instruments effectively.
  • Proficiency with Excel, MS Project and Procore.
  • First Aid/AED/CPR certified.
  • NFPA Hot Work Safety certified.
  • OSHA 30-Hour certified.
