Construction Assistant Project Manager – Support Large-Scale Multifamily Developments with ACG Builds


Job Overview:

The Opportunity:

You will drive key operations for high-impact, multi-hundred-unit multifamily construction and rehabilitation projects in Spokane. This role places you on a fast-track for professional growth within an award-winning, rapidly expanding general contractor. You will collaborate directly with field leaders and project managers to bring major residential communities to life.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to execute construction plans and hit project timelines.
  • Drive the bidding process by issuing requests for proposals and evaluating subcontractor bids.
  • Manage essential project logs, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and updated punch lists.
  • Conduct regular site walks and subcontractor meetings to monitor construction progress and quality.
  • Maintain precise on-site project documentation, including specifications, contract documents, and as-builts.
  • Assist with jobsite safety monitoring to maintain a secure working environment for all trades.
  • Cultivate strong, professional relationships with owners, subcontractors, engineers, and municipal authorities.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a commercial Project Engineer or equivalent commercial construction role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related 4-year degree program.
  • Complete proficiency in plan reading, shop drawings, and technical specifications review.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, and Procore.
  • Proven track record of managing project documentation and maintaining subcontractor relationships.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Direct experience working on multi-hundred-unit residential or multifamily rehab developments.
  • Established network of trade subcontractors and municipal contacts in the Spokane, WA area.


Compensation & Benefits:
