About Us: We are a nationally recognized architecture and design practice specializing in large-scale retail environments, store planning, and multi-location rollout programs for leading brands. Our team delivers high-volume, prototype-driven solutions across diverse markets, combining technical excellence with operational efficiency to execute complex projects at scale.


The Position: We are seeking a Project Architect / Project Manager to support national retail rollout programs and store planning initiatives within the DC market and beyond. This role will lead technical execution and coordination across multiple projects, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency in fast-paced, multi-site environments. Ideal candidates bring strong retail or rollout experience and thrive in managing prototype-based programs.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead technical design and production of construction documents for retail rollout projects
  • Coordinate project delivery from design development through construction administration
  • Ensure alignment with prototype standards, brand guidelines, and rollout requirements
  • Oversee documentation and coordination across multiple store locations
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams
  • Support permitting, code analysis, and jurisdictional approvals across various markets
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, and construction administration tasks
  • Maintain QA/QC standards and consistency across all project deliverables
  • Assist with scheduling, timelines, and overall project execution
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior team members


What You Need (Qualifications)

  • 8–12+ years of experience in architecture / project architecture roles
  • Licensed Architect or NCARB Registered required
  • Strong experience in retail, rollout, store planning, or grocery projects
  • Proven ability leading construction documentation and technical coordination
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, permitting, and documentation processes
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and consultants
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
