Job Description:
The Department of Surgery at the University of Florida is seeking a tenure/non-tenure accruing position at the level of Assistant, Associate or Professor in Thoracic Surgery to join our team of Thoracic surgeons at The University of Florida Shands hospital, a comprehensive 1,000+bed hospital. The new hire will join a vibrant group of four thoracic surgeons and further support the Division's growth in Lung Transplantation (on track for 72 transplants this year), Extracorporeal Life Support and Thoracic Oncology (90% resections done minimally invasively, mostly robotic). Experience in lung transplantation is required. Ideal candidates will have robotic exposure and an interest in esophageal disease as well.

Based upon experience and education
Minimum Requirements:
Must have a MD degree or equivalent and be board certified or eligible in Thoracic and Cardiovascular surgery.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in lung transplantation is required. Ideal candidates will have robotic exposure and an interest in esophageal disease as well.
