The Opportunity:
Are you interested in helping develop training that supports the Intelligence Community? As an early-career instructional designer, you'll contribute to building interactive courses by supporting more senior designers and subject matter experts (SMEs). You'll learn how to understand customer needs and help create training products that strengthen critical tradecraft skills.
On our team, you'll collaborate with SMEs and product designers to gather training requirements and assist in shaping effective learning solutions. With guidance, you'll help create learner-focused materials and performance support tools. You'll support the development of training content by working with curriculum developers and SMEs while following the ADDIE model.
You'll apply your growing technical skills and creativity to help design engaging learning experiences for both digital and classroom settings. You'll learn about multimedia tools, blended learning approaches, and effective training strategies. Communication will be key-you'll participate in meetings with SMEs, help incorporate feedback, and support updates throughout the development cycle.
This role is a great opportunity to grow your instructional design skills while contributing to learner-centered solutions that support national security missions.

You Have:
  • 1+ years of experience in a professional work environment
  • Knowledge of learning theory and instructional technologies
  • Experience with eLearning tools
  • Experience with computer-based training or curriculum development
  • Ability to help create basic instructional materials, learning objectives, and assessments
  • Ability to learn how to integrate training into Learning Management Systems
  • Ability to collaborate with instructors and SMEs
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $39,600.00 to $81,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
