WHAT IS THE JOB?
As the Assistant, Logistics and Production you will be assisting the production team with any task that arises. This position is ideal for a highly multi-functional, "roll up your sleeves," entrepreneurial professional who wants to learn about garment manufacturing and supply chains. The right person will be able to multitask and learn how to problem solve on a daily basis.
WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES?
  • Data entry for both AM & SM lines into the existing systems
  • Data maintenance in company systems
  • Barcodes & Labeling
  • Create barcode files for both AM & SM, coordinating with internal teams to confirm correct UPC format and pricing data before finalizing
  • Check barcodes, care labels, and trims for both AM & SM for compliance with brand and country-of-origin requirements
  • Ship hangtags and barcodes to vendors
  • TOP (Top of Production) Management
  • Check in TOP samples for both AM & SM; update WIP files with dates and approvals
  • Prep samples for fittings - steam, iron, and flag any QC issues beforehand
  • Assist production team with vendor care label and hangtag approvals
  • Manage in house Trims & Supplies closet
  • Order QC items and trim-related supplies (barcode stickers, hangtags) through the warehouse management system
  • Attend weekly product status meetings
