Join a proven team for growth, success, and a satisfying career!The pay range for this role is $60,000/year to $70,000/year.Summary: The Product Development Chef will support the Product Development team, sales, marketing and all product development efforts through recipe development and presentations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Product Development: Collaborate with innovation, sales, marketing, production, regulatory, and FSQ to standardize the flow of new products and renovation of existing products from development through commercialization. Work with production, FSQ, and other essential personnel to ensure the appropriate scale-up process is followed for new products and processes. Assist with new ingredient evaluation and approvals. Assist the Regulatory and Product Management Team with recipes and nutritional labeling of new products, as needed. Collaborate and set key attributes and key product notes with quality assurance, quality control and production to develop in line and finished product specifications. Collaborate with Innovation, Marketing, and Product Management/Regulatory to develop culinary innovation through ideation meetings. Stay apprised of culinary and production trends and apply them in a meaningful manner to the department. Prepares the culinary center for customer demonstrations/product cuttings. Managing sample delivery and provide support to sales team members during cuttings. This includes shipping product samples, equipment, supplies, POS, and other materials needed. Participate in tradeshows, outside promotions and demonstrations when needed. Up to 20% travel may be required to support sales.
