JOB DESCRIPTION
Hannity is looking for a dedicated, creative, and experienced Field Producer to join our New York team. In this role, you will coordinate on-location shoots, identify and develop story opportunities, work closely with the show's producers and editorial team, and travel as needed. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a passion for politics, current events, and the cultural issues driving the national conversation.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Pitch original stories, segments, and guest ideas daily
  • Coordinate and manage field shoots
  • Produce packages from field-generated content
  • Write scripts, banners, teases, and other editorial and production elements
  • Assist with all coverage and editorial needs
  • Collaborate closely with producers, writers, bookers, and editors to execute a fast-paced nightly program
  • Travel as needed to support field production and special event coverage

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Experience producing television news content, including field and package production
  • Strong knowledge of and passion for politics and current events
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating field shoots and live television coverage
  • Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
  • Willingness to travel frequently and respond to breaking news assignments on short notice
  • Proficiency with newsroom systems and production tools; familiarity with iNews, Outlook, and related newsroom software is a plus

Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
