Job description

About the Role

We are seeking a Assistant Process Engineer to join our team at our Bell Gardens, CA facility. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations, with a focus on improving efficiency, food safety, quality, and equipment reliability.


You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop manufacturing technology, troubleshoot production issues, and implement process improvements while identifying and applying new technologies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing processes and equipment to improve process flow, with a focus on continuous improvement in food safety, quality, and production efficiency
  • Coordinate and support activities to resolve machine, equipment, and utility issues
  • Support the Quality team in root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Manage and assist with preventive maintenance (PM) programs
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and support manufacturing optimization efforts


Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in food manufacturing or similar production environment
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on engineering mindset
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment


Compensation & Benefits

$55,000 โ€“ $75,000 annually, with final offer will depend on experience and qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
