Job Description – Power Platform Consulting 2 Resources Needed

Position Types: Power Platform Software Architect & Power Platform Software Developer

Project Duration: April 2026 – August 2027 (with extension options)

Work Type: Remote/Hybrid – St. Paul, MN

Interview Format: Microsoft Teams

Project Overview

This project involves supporting a large public-sector technology environment in the design, development, and implementation of secure, user‑friendly Microsoft Power Platform solutions. These solutions will help streamline workflows, enhance data integration, and modernize digital tools across multiple departments.

Consultants will work in iterative development cycles, completing tasks as products progress toward production. Vendor partners must be capable of scaling resources quickly to meet changing project needs and must provide a primary point of contact responsible for consultant oversight and communication.

Each consultant will be documented through a Work Request outlining required qualifications, responsibilities, and project assignments.

1. Power Platform Software Architect

Position Summary

The Power Platform Software Architect will lead architecture and solution design using Microsoft Power Platform within a secure cloud environment. This role ensures applications meet business, technical, and security requirements while guiding design decisions and supporting junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture and design discussions for Power Platform solutions.
  • Develop and configure Power Apps, Power Pages, and Power Automate components.
  • Configure data gateways to integrate Power Platform applications with Azure SQL, Azure BLOB/File Storage, and other data sources.
  • Coordinate user authentication and security using Azure Active Directory.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Build user interfaces using Power Apps and Power Pages.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to internal staff.
  • Create and maintain architecture documentation.

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong experience with model‑driven and canvas apps.
  • Hands‑on experience with Power Automate and Power Pages.
  • Experience developing Power BI dashboards or equivalent visualization tools.
