Job Captain / Architect II

We are partnering with a growing, employee-owned architecture firm seeking a Job Captain / Architect II to support projects from planning and design through construction administration. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced architectural professional with strong technical and production skills who is looking to continue growing toward a Project Architect role.

Eligible employees participate in an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), providing the opportunity to share in the firm's long-term success.

Responsibilities

Support projects through all phases of design and construction administration.

Prepare and coordinate Revit models, construction documents, and technical drawings.

Coordinate with project managers, architects, clients, and engineering consultants.

Develop technical details and code-compliant construction documents.

Assist with QA/QC reviews, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.

Support project schedules, technical coordination, and overall project delivery.

Mentor and support junior team members.

Qualifications

Professional degree in Architecture required.

6+ years of professional architectural experience.

Professional licensure preferred.

Strong proficiency in Revit; AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred.

Experience producing coordinated construction documents and coordinating with consultants.

Working knowledge of building codes, construction detailing, and construction administration.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
