Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking 2 individuals to be a firsthand assistant for our machine operator on 2nd shift. This company is a spin off of our parent company that has been in the paper and plastic recycling business for over 20 years.

Responsibilities

  • Feed the machine with plastic for reprocessing
  • Load and unload inbound/outbound semi trailers with either material to process or finished goods
  • Ensure that finished goods are packaged neatly, labeled properly, and are ready to ship to customers
  • Maintain a neat and clean workspace
  • Follow all safety procedures that have been established
  • Help perform general maintenance and housekeeping
  • Help machine operator with repairs and retooling

Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting or similar role is preferred
  • High School diploma or better
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
