Overview

Indian Ridge Country Club is seeking a seasonal assistant professional to join the golf team that will work closely alongside the Director of Golf & Head Professional with all day to day operations of the golf department to ensure premier member and guest experiences.

The position will be involved in the active men's, women's or couples leagues based on experience (tournament operations experience is a bonus). Duties include but not limited to: tournament management, active member relations, assisting hard/soft goods managers with inventory management, displays and organization of golf shop merchandise, opening/closing procedures, assisting members with tee times and event sign-ups as well as merchandise throughout the golf shop. Responsibilities also include starter/ranger duties, club repair, playing golf with membership, individual lessons and group clinics.

Experience Required

PGA Member or Apprentice in good standing with the PGA of America. 2 years minimum experience as a PGA Professional

Essential Responsibilities
  • Exceptional knowledge of the game of golf, handicaps, rules of golf, facility operations and tournament operations
  • Private/group lesson experience
  • Act as a role model for all employees by demonstrating the behavior and work ethic expected of all employees
  • Attentive to details - Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite tools
  • Self-motivated - Team Leader - Strong communication, organizational, planning and prioritization skill
