Do you have what it takes to be a PCR Lab Tech II:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience required
  • Experience working in a CLIA accredited clinical laboratory preferred
  • Active BLS required


A day in the life of PCR Lab Tech II:

  • Proper handling of medical records and test results
  • DNA/RNA extraction
  • Assist in performing PCR tests
  • Organize and catalogue samples
  • Performing complex troubleshooting
  • Contacting Vendor Support when needed
  • Managing Lot-to-Lot Reagent QC
  • Managing inventory tracking systems
  • Checking in new reagent shipments
  • Verifying Lot numbers
