JOB DETAILS: Ratios:1:1 Shift: 5x8 Days (06:45-15:15) Mon-Fri Occasional late days, typically 4-5 days per month, it is rare that staff will work in the lab after 17:00 on those days. Call Requirement: Call one day a week and every fifth weekend. Float Requirement: Will float as needed. Weekend Requirement: NONE PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Patients are referred to Cath Lab with a range of cardiovascular diagnoses or symptom, often with suspicion or confirmation of heart or vascular disease. Some diagnosis includes the following: coronary artery disease (stable angina, unstable angina/NSTEMI, STEMI, heart failure, valvular disease, congenital heart disease, pulmonary hypertension, pericardial disease and assess pre-operative evaluation. SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)-ballon angioplasty and stent placement, PFO/ASD closure, Cardiogenic shock, CTO, ETC. SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Impella, Penumbra, EKOS, Roto, Ultrasound, Shockwave and ACIST are major items used. GE Mac Lab system.
