Shift: Day Shift - 6:00am to 4:30pm (Monday - Thursday)
Position Description
The Material Handler plays a key role in supporting manufacturing operations at SilencerCo by ensuring accurate, timely movement of materials throughout the facility. This position supports production goals, inventory accuracy, safety standards, and efficient material flow by executing established walking routes, maintaining inventory discipline, and partnering closely with manufacturing teams. Material Handlers are expected to be reliable, detail-oriented team players who contribute to the production of exceptional products.
Job Responsibilities
  • Execute established material handling and walking routes to ensure production areas are consistently supplied
  • Accurately move, stage, and deliver raw materials, components, WIP, and finished goods throughout the facility
  • Perform material transactions in inventory systems to maintain real-time inventory accuracy
  • Support Kanban systems by replenishing materials based on visual signals and established triggers
  • Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled material storage areas
  • Support cycle counting activities and assist with physical inventory audits as needed
  • Identify and communicate material shortages, discrepancies, or route delays to the Material Handling Supervisor
  • Handle materials in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of material handling equipment and PPE
  • Assist with packaging, staging, and internal transfers to support production and shipping needs
  • Collaborate with production, planning, quality, and maintenance teams to support uninterrupted operations
