Job description

As a Sales Lead in our Coffee Marketplace, you’ll be an essential part of daily operations by supporting leadership and inspiring your team to create memorable experiences for every guest. You’ll blend your love for coffee, food, and retail into a role that’s fast-paced, fun, and service-focused. Whether guiding guests through our coffee offerings or showcasing curated marketplace products, you’ll help bring our company’s values to life. This position is eligible to receive a company sign-on bonus of ***$750.00 sign-on bonus*** (payable in two installments-$375.00 bonus payable at 90 days and $375.00 bonus at 180 days of service)

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead by Example: Deliver outstanding guest service at the coffee bar and marketplace, ensuring every order and interaction feels welcoming, warm, and memorable.
  • Food & Beverage Focus: Support daily café operations, from preparing beverages to ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Engage Guests: Create moments of delight by sharing product knowledge, coffee enthusiasm, and marketplace highlights.
  • Operational Support: Assist with store operations such as handling cash, managing inventory, and keeping the store stocked, clean, and guest-ready.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Store Director and Assistant Store Director (where applicable), helping coach and guide fellow team members to achieve their best.
  • Merchandising: Help present food & beverage and retail products in an appealing, organized way.

What You Bring:

  • Food & Beverage Experience: Prior barista, or food service supervisory experience preferred; retail leadership or keyholder background strongly valued.
  • Coffee Enthusiasm: A passion for coffee and quality service, with a willingness to share knowledge and craft with guests and teammates.
  • Guest Service Star: Friendly, outgoing, and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Leadership Potential: Ability to take initiative, set the tone for service, and support the management team.

  • Food Safety Awareness: Commitment to following health department standards and proper food handling procedures. 
    • Valid Food Handler Certificate in compliance with applicable state and local health department regulations required upon hire or within 30 days of your start date. Proof of certification must be submitted to management or Human Resources upon completion.
    • The Company will provide access to approved food safety training and may cover the cost of certification upon successful completion
    • Managers and Supervisors are required to maintain all applicable food safety certifications, including Food Handler and Food Protection Manager (ServSafe Manager) certifications, as required by local health authorities. Maintaining current certifications is a condition of continued employment.
