Duties of the Job
• Assists Operator with operation of the sheeter.
• Able to move up into the senior assistant operator position.
• Operates the control panel for the speed piler.
• Dresses, inserts skids into speed piler and labels them.
• Assists with sheeter adjustments and threading sheets into the sheeter.
• Pulls out substandard paper at the sheeter or the jogger.
• Assists in quality inspections of sheets, performing testing as required.
• Scans loads into system for automatic (AGV) pick up.
• Maintains good housekeeping throughout the shift.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned by supervision.
• Follows all established safety standards.
• Some computer skills required.
• Trucks pallets and skids from various production units to inventory locations using forklift truck.
• Identifies locations of some loads to Wisconsin Rapids Inventory Control System.
• Unloads and trucks various supplies used in plant, e.g., pallets, skids, returned product.
• When performing as Shipping Operator, stages loads and loads trucks with skids and pallets.
• When performing as Roll Handler, stages rolls and loads railcars.
• When performing as Wrapper Operator, oversees roll wrapping line, loads backstands and storage racks.
• Transports broke boxes located throughout plant and dumps in Pulper.
• Dumps bales with lift truck as required.
• Operates core-stripper and manipulator.
• Operate core recycler and perform all related tasks.

On-The-Job Requirements
• Frequent pushing/pulling 20-40 lbs., bending and reaching, e.g., removing substandard paper from load.
• Continuous standing and walking.
• Must lift stub roles and empty cores.
• Must do a considerable amount of walking, bending and stooping.
• Must do some pushing and pulling of broke boxes weighing from 200 to 500 pounds.
• Must read, including gauges and instrument dials.
• Must do basic math, e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Must have legible handwriting.
• Must obtain Company Power Truck Operator's license.
• Must read and write.
• Must interpret verbal instructions.
• Must work around moving machinery.
• Must work rotating shifts.
Qualifications
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the above jobs.
• Must pass vision test. Visual standards are:
- Visual Acuity - Near acuity to be 20/30 or better in each eye with or without corrective glasses.
- Ocular Motility - Normal motility with no nystagmus or muscle weakness.
- Peripheral Vision - 70 degrees or better temporal peripheral vision
