Job Summary

Production workers are the core of Purple! We need someone who is ready to work hard every day and be a great addition to our team! As an IMM operator you are responsible for keeping up with the production demands while operating safely.Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure IMM equipment is running at peak efficiencies

  • Follow all production and machine protocols putting safety above all else.

  • Handle equipment starting and stopping activities during each designated shift.

  • Load and unload items from machines and dollies.

  • Ensure that all processes are followed in accordance with company protocol.

  • Make sure that appropriate safety measures are considered at every step of the production process.

  • Inspect product and record data at appropriate steps of the production cycle.

  • Make sure that tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained properly at the end of each shift.

  • Responsible for proper labelling and packaging of finished items

  • Assist Engineering and Maintenance in troubleshooting IMM issues

Required Skills, Education, Experience:

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to train as well as lead. Someone with a proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.

  • Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Physical Requirements

Physical activities may constantly include:

  • Communicating with others to exchange information.

  • Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work assigned.

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.

  • Must be able to stand for 12 hours

Environmental Conditions may occasionally include:

  • Noisy production environment

Work Hours (Good Faith Estimate):

This full-time position is expected to work approximately 30-40 hours per week. This is a good faith estimate, and actual hours may vary based on business needs.
