Job description

CMG Home Loans is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant (Production Assistant) to support our Eagle, ID Branch (Boise, ID area) and the Loan Officer by ensuring timely closing or loan files by coordinating with operations staff and maintaining proactive communication with customers. The ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging with clients daily and providing exceptional service throughout the loan process.

Must be able to work onsite at the Eagle, ID Branch


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Request disclosures
  • Will calculate income and run number for loans to make sure viable
  • Work with complicated tax returns
  • Open escrow, collect fees and order preliminary title report
  • Order appraisals
  • Collect and review client documentation
  • Review income analysis from the Loan Officer
  • Submit loans documentation to processing (Submission form, Intent to proceed, LDP/GSA, Net Tangible)
  • Gather Loan Agent PTD and PTF conditions
  • Submit requests for Rapid Rescores
  • Assist with marketing initiatives, including event coordination, social media support, and preparation of promotional materials.
  • Submit and track expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide administrative support to the Regional Manager, including scheduling, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Prefer 2+ years of experience in the mortgage industry but willing to train someone excited to get into mortgage.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Eagle, ID
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage industry and terminology.
  • Experience with Byte and other LOS software preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced fluid environment.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

This role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.

BASE COMPENSATION: This role is currently allocated for candidates within geographic regions that do not currently require base wage disclosure. The compensation range for this position will be provided upon request.(Due to their geographic location, residents of the states of CA & CO, and for NY are excluded from this role at this time.)
