Varsity Boys Basketball Assistant Coach - Ida Crown Jewish Academy

Ida Crown Jewish Academy is currently seeking a Varsity Boys Basketball Assistant Coach for the upcoming 2026-27 season. The Varsity Boys Assistant Coach should be well versed in modern basketball concepts, offensive spacing, man and zone defensive tactics, and be knowledgeable of current best practices.

 Responsibilities include: 

 • Support the Head Coach in developing the skills and character of the student-athletes while possessing a high level of communication and leadership

 • Assist in overseeing player development, helping plan scouting reports on opponents, and establishing game strategies 

 • Collaborate with the Head Coach to design well organized and competitive practice plans that evolve throughout the season

 • Reinforce fundamental basketball skills and implement the offensive and defensive systems put in place by the Head Coach
