Director of OperationsRole Summary

As the organization continues to grow, we are seeking a Director of Operations to lead day-to-day operations, strengthen team accountability, drive operational excellence, and support the business through its next phase of growth. This is a newly created leadership role reporting directly to ownership. The successful candidate will oversee multiple departments including project management, estimating, administration, accounting support, and compliance.

We are looking for a hands-on operational leader who can effectively manage people, processes, and performance while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Skills & Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in restoration, construction, or a related project-based industry
  • 7+ years of leadership experience managing teams and operational functions
  • Strong understanding of restoration and construction operations
  • Experience overseeing project management, estimating, administration, and compliance functions
  • Proven ability to lead teams, improve performance, and implement accountability measures
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and operational KPIs
  • Experience working within EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) environments is considered an asset
  • General understanding of Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Encircle, and accounting software platforms
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills

  • Manage and support EOS processes, scorecards, and leadership meetings
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices
  • Work closely with ownership to execute strategic initiatives and business objectives
  • Assist in the development and management of annual budgets and operational forecasts
  • Monitor departmental performance and implement improvement plans where necessary
  • Support the onboarding of new customers and ensure proper operational execution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, insurance partners, and key stakeholders
  • Resolve escalated customer issues while ensuring positive outcomes
  • Drive operational improvements, efficiency, profitability, and technology adoption
  • Recruit, coach, and develop high-performing teams while fostering collaboration and accountability
