Program Manager, Lead

The Opportunity:

As a lead program manager on our team, you'll design, implement, and maintain impactful programs by guiding scientist and engineers to tackle our nation's toughest technology challenges. Our government clients will trust you to organize and coordinate program objectives, while your team will look to you for direction as they navigate requirements, budget constraints, and staffing challenges. As an authority in the IT systems and technology, you'll identify opportunities to grow the business by supporting your client's mission. You'll also broaden your expertise in problem management, strategic planning, reviewing contracts, and more. This is your chance to impact solutions while sharing your knowledge and expertise of program management methodologies.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience managing complex IT programs, secure mobility deployments, and enterprise-wide integrations

  • 7+ years of experience managing a dispersed workforce and various functions in support of large-scale DoD efforts

  • Experience with Agile methodologies, risk analysis, schedule and budget management, and stakeholder communication

  • Knowledge ofDoDproject or program management practices

  • Ability to engage with clients to collect, understand, and define their IT requirements, analyze and translate those requirements into project plans and milestones, and create realistic resource-loaded schedules to manage and report progress

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

  • PMP Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Knowledge of CSfC requirements, secure mobile communications, layered encryption, zero-trust architectures, MDM, cloud integration, containerization, and DevSecOps

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Master's degree in STEM or Management

  • IT, PM, or Governance Certification including, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, ITIL Foundation, CISSP, or ITIL 4 Foundation Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
