On-site, West Palm Beach, FL

Ambrosia Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced, organized, and proactive Research Assistant to support the full lifecycle of clinical research studies in behavioral health and neuroscience.

The ideal candidate has hands-on clinical research experience, strong knowledge of research operations and GCP, and the ability to independently manage study activities, participants, documentation, data, and research partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate clinical research studies from startup through closeout.
  • Support participant recruitment, screening, enrollment, retention, and study visits.
  • Coordinate study schedules and ensure protocol requirements and visit windows are met.
  • Maintain accurate source documentation, regulatory files, and essential study documents.
  • Assist with IRB submissions, amendments, continuing reviews, and regulatory requirements.
  • Enter and maintain study data in EDC/research databases and resolve data queries.
  • Coordinate with investigators, sponsors, CROs, monitors, and other study partners.
  • Prepare for monitoring visits, audits, and inspections.
  • Track study deadlines, outstanding items, and required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with GCP, HIPAA, informed consent requirements, study protocols, and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Neuroscience, Biology, Public Health, or related field.
  • Hands-on clinical research experience required.
  • Approximately 1-2 years of clinical research experience preferred.
  • Experience coordinating clinical trials and/or supporting study coordination.
  • Working knowledge of GCP and clinical research regulations.
  • Experience with participant recruitment, screening, enrollment, study visits, and research documentation.
  • Experience with electronic data capture systems and/or clinical research databases.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
  • Ability to pass a Level 2 background check: HB531 | Florida Agency for Health Care Administration
Strongly Preferred
  • Experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, substance use, or mental health.
  • Experience working with individuals with behavioral health or substance use disorders.
  • Experience working with sponsors, CROs, and research monitors.
  • ACRP or SOCRA certification.
  • Phlebotomy experience.
  • Familiarity with qEEG, TMS, neurofeedback, neuromodulation, or other neuroscience technologies.
